Incense Wands

Our incense wands are hand-crafted bundles of whole plants, drawing on traditions of smoke medicine practiced across cultures for thousands of years. Each formulation is created with a specific intention — whether for clearing, grounding, opening the heart, or connecting to something beyond the visible.

All plants are grown and harvested in our own gardens, allowing the full journey from soil to smoke to remain intact. The bundles are bound with pure cotton string and can be gently extinguished in sand for later use, making them both practical and enduring.

At Yamù, incense is part of daily life. It accompanies moments of prayer, gathering, transition, and stillness. We do not enter natural spaces, sacred work, or even quiet moments in our homes without the presence of smoke. In this way, incense becomes more than a product — it becomes a practice.

These wands are not simply fragrance. They are botanical prayers carried in smoke.

As they burn, incense wands form a hot coal within the bundle and should always be used with care. Place them on a non-combustible surface such as stone or tile, or hold them mindfully while in use. If needed, they can be extinguished with water in an emergency, although sand is preferred as it preserves the wand for future use.
